Models walking the runway with hand painted shoes in the 90s were glamorous and sleek but not always practical. These models’ clothes often had a lot of fabric that would get tangled up around their feet as they walked. Sometimes, this made them fall! Many trends during this period are worth revisiting today to see how they have changed over the years. Here are some of our favorite fashion trends from the 90s:

Oversized Baggy Shirt

This was once a popular trend during the ’90s. The look was usually paired with baggy pants and sometimes even slippers. If you feel nostalgic, you can try it on for yourself with a pair of jeans and some chunky sneakers. It is not the most elegant outfit but hey! Nobody said fashion was always pretty, proper? This look has genuinely come back to life within this year’s street styles because who doesn’t love comfort? Oversized shirts are still trendy in many street styles as well.

Jumpsuits

The most notable fashion trend of the ’90s was undoubtedly the one-shoulder jumpsuit. This outfit became famous in 1997 when Pamela Anderson wore it on an episode of Baywatch. At that time, every woman wanted to have a version of this garment and many jumped on fashion bandwagons just for trying it out.
